On tap at Enegren Brewing Company in Moorpark, CA.
Pours a hazy honey gold with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. A foamy curtain of lace coats the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus zest, pine needle, Belgian yeast, and slight funk aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, pine needle, herbal hop, Belgian yeast, and slight funk flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is drinkable, but there is a slight funk presence that is a bit odd.
Serving type: on tap.
