Poured at fridge temp. Pours a murky brown with tons of fluffy tan head. The nose is figs, sweet toffee, plums, raisins, a slight nuttiness and an herbal note. Very nice. The taste is pretty sweet. Toffee, brown sugar, bready malts, a very slight smoky note, wood, plums, raisins, and a very slight apple cider vinegar. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a malty aftertaste. The alcohol is detectable, but not overpowering. Great beer.
