473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Aug 16 2022 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a clear orange-amber, capped with nearly two fingers of foamy, off white-coloured head that dissipates within several minutes; a tight collar of creamy suds remains in place afterwards, encircling a thin, filmy cap. It does smell rather similar to a ginger snap: I'm getting brown sugar, candied ginger, cookie dough, cinnamon and maybe a touch of molasses.
A nice golden ale, quite flavourful for its low abv. Bready pale malts and light honey sweetness at first, followed by cookie dough and ginger; hints of cinnamon and brown sugar round out a mildly spicy back end. Ginger, cookie dough and cinnamon persist into the aftertaste, the latter imparting a dry, spicy earthiness that lingers on the taste buds. Light-medium in body, with moderately low carbonation that gives a gentle bite to this brew's smooth, slightly crisp mouthfeel. Good drinkability.
Final Grade: 3.62, a B grade. Ginger Snap Cookie didn't have the ginger heat/bite I had been hoping for, but it's still a decent approximation of the cookie in beer form. Leans to the sweet side - hardly a shock, and while I could probably drink a few of these in a row without a fuss, I'm not sure I'd want to. Worth a look if you enjoy ginger beers, spiced ambers and the like - this'll slot in just fine alongside the pumpkin beers I've got queued up for review.

473 ml can served cold into a beer mug. LCBO purchase for around $3.75 CDN. Review from notes.
Appearance - Ruddy orange/ honey brown in color with two fingers of light tan head that fizzles away quickly.
Smell - Faint graininess, hints of ginger and a generally sweet cookie batter disposition.
Taste - Similar to the nose, light sort of sweet and grainy flavors, some ginger and again more sweetness up front that fades away. Decent enough intensity for a few sips, then seems to fade a bit.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, light carbonation and slightly spicy finish.
Overall - Ok brew, nice addition on the blonde ale, but nothing to blow your socks off.

Pours light brown coloured, with a finger thick head. Slight hints of ginger and brown sugar. The taste does indeed taste like a gingersnap cookie. Thin mouthfeel
