Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a light haze and a thick head of pillowy ivory foam atop. Nice!
Smell: moderately sweet malt with just a dash of graininess to it, plus a rather prominent yeasty character that is just the type of thing I like in the style.
Taste: crackery malt character that is a bit sweet, with plenty more bready yeastiness and a nice note of earthy hop flavors. Bitterness isn't super high or anything, but it's there, for sure.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a pretty darn solid kellerbier/zwickelbier. I have no idea how long this has been sitting in cans, but it definitely still has that rich, un-lagered character about it.
