Poured into a snifter, the appearance had a jet black color-ed body with a finger's worth of tan foamy head. This slid off fairly slow leaving some concave lace.
The aroma had roasty coffee beans, dark chocolate, coconut, salty peanuts and white chocolate.
The flavor moderately blended the prior mentioned aromas to semi-roasty, salty and some sweetness. Slight toasty effect on the coffee part. Weird long aftertaste - fairly sweet with some dark toast, milk chocolate/fudge, sticky sweet, some cola.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with some stickiness. Very much so a sipper due to the stickiness, not cloying. Carbonation felt good. ABV seemed appropriate. Finish was sticky through milk chocolate fudge, buttery peanuts, white chocolate and cola.
Overall, mostly good to me, was not an easy beer to take down solely. Still, I could see myself coming back to preferably in the winter.

Pour is black with a dense tan head. Nose includes char notes, creamy chocolate, coconut, and a smidge of peanut butter.

The peanut butter and coconut compete for the spotlight on the taste (peanut butter wins) and the milk chocolate actually adds a significant amount of body and flavor at the end of the taste.

Omnipollo brews big, flavorful beers that stretch boundaries. This beer is no exception.

16 ounce can into snifter, canned on 2/9/2018. Pours opaque dark brown/black color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy tan head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Slight spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, peanut butter, coconut, marshmallow, fudge, molasses, and toasted dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coffee, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, herbal, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Increasing fruitiness as it warms, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balanced and complexity of dark/roast/bready malts, white chocolate, vanilla, coconut, and PB flavorings; with solid strength. Taste of big milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, peanut butter, coconut, marshmallow, fudge, molasses, and toasted dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of coffee, licorice, dark fruit, smoke, herbal, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Very mild herbal hop and roast bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, peanut butter, coconut, marshmallow, fudge, molasses, toasted dark/brown bread, light dark fruit/smoke, yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, white chocolate, vanilla, coconut, and PB flavorings; with a great roasted bitter/sweet balance; and zero cloying/acrid flavors after the finish. Minimal dryness. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/slick, and slightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Mildly increasing warmth of 11% after the finish. Overall this is an excellent flavored imperial stout. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of rich malts and flavorings; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the big ABV. Not quite as impressive as most of their other stouts, but still delicious. A bit more fruity on the yeast.

Poured from 16 oz. can.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 1/2 inch tan head over an almost black body with no lacing while the head dissipates in a matter of a few minutes. Nose of roasted malts, chocolate, peanut butter, and a bit of vanilla with even less coconut. Taste of peanut butter, chocolate, and a bit of white chocolate. As it warms vanilla and coconut assert themselves. Nice feel, was hoping for a bit more though. Finish is all peanut butter, like you just had a spoonful. Overall, a fine Imperial Stout with a lot going on in the flavor department and at $7.99 a can, a treat to be savored. Cheers!
