At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From The Roundhouse Centre LCBO on Howard Ave. in nearby Windsor. Canned September 23/24. My 5th beer from the Sundbyberg, Sweden brewery, and for 2025. Embraced by Sundae the cat...

A-Hazy yellow with a strong white head that lingers
S-Bizzarre aroma of vegetal stewed soup, with a tomato purée element. There is a fruit layer that is difficult to come through
M-medium carbonation with a medium body and slightly peppery mouthfeel
T-Quite strange flavour profile of cooked vegetables within a fruit cocktail. There is a savoury element that is out of sorts
O-This beer was quite interesting but will not be having another.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Apr 23 2022 and served barely chilled. Brewed in Toronto for the Canadian market.
Pours a turbid apricot yellow colour, capped with an inch of foamy, soapy white head that lasts for several minutes' time; a decent swath of lace is scattered in its wake, with a tight collar remaining on the surface. Orange, mango and grapefruit on the nose, with hints of pineapple, passion fruit and herbal, woodsy hops; a fair bit of wheatiness is also evident.
A very juicy IPA, with flavours of pineapple and mango coming through first, followed by orange, grapefruit and passion fruit. Hints of wheaty grains and oat sweetness underneath, but the citrus/tropical fruit hop flavours remain dominant. Moderately acidic on the back end, with herbal, floral hop bitterness interspersed between notes of orange, grapefruit and pineapple, which echo into a juicy aftertaste. A little warming, but nothing too serious for nearly 7%. Medium-full in body, with moderately low carbonation that gently brushes against the palate; feels a little prickly on the tongue, with a smooth, soft, juice-like texture. Fair drinkability... between the abv & acidity, one per night is enough.
Final Grade: 3.89, a B+. Lorpan is very juicy, with a nice mix of citrus and tropical fruit flavours that most hopheads should find agreeable. It does have some of that acidity/"hop burn" that I get from heavily hopped pale ales, but it's not intense enough to ruin the experience. I don't think I'd take this IPA over their Zodiak, which is a more readily available beer anyhow - however, this can is also over 6 months old, which is getting up there for any IPA. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for fresh Lorpan, and update this review if needed.

Pours a light tannedish yellow colour with a nice finger and a half thick head. Poured into a typical IPA glass, the head lasts a few minutes and then fades. This was literally canned exactly one week ago, I’ve rarely had such fresh IPAs. Lorpan has been on two at their brewery, this is likely their wide release now at the LCBO. Very thick, more than hazy body. Aggressive lacing
NEIPA aromas with some nice spins. Tropical, yes. Floral and grassy hops as well. Papaya is strong with a small amount of pineapple and mango. A lot of citrus makes up the background and yet the foreground as well, but it’s not overwhelming. Pleasant grapefruit, lemon-lime, orange pulpy fresh spritzes.
The taste follows the nose to a T, pleasantly bittersweet and very ‘juicy’ to use that word. Flavour and aromatics higher than the bitterness here for the hop profile. Wheaty, bready grains make up a pleasant malt backbone to the citrus and gentle tropicality
Mouthfeel is typical of almost all of Omnipollo’s offerings, which is almost a style to its own. The barley wheat and oats added, and the slightly higher ABV, give this a slightly oily, thicker body. Oats give it that soapy thick body with a pleasant bitter tang, mixing well with the hops. Beer is medium-ish bodied, moderate carbonation, bittersweet leaning to lightly bitter finish of wheat, grains, and grassy citrusy hops.
Lorpan is an above average NEIPA, worthy over most others. I think I still prefer Zodiak by them, but this is great. For some breweries I don’t get the hype, like Bellwoods for me. But Omnipollo has always been amazing, no matter if one of their beers isn’t as good as the rest, it’s always better than other breweries offerings and always makes you feel it was worth the extra money.

473ml can served cold into a tulip. LCBO purchase for about $5.25 CDN. Canned April 23, 2022.
Appearance - Hazy yellowy color with orange highlights. Two fingers of fluffy white head. Some lacing clings to the edges of the glass.
Smell - Juicy citrus with grapefruit and a little mango. Pineapple probably mixed in too.
Taste - Lots of citrus, Grapefruit, pineapple and mango. Plenty fruity, wheaty background. Good and fairly intense flavor.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied, Slightly dry finish.
Overall - Quite solid IPA, lots of citrus and nice bitter streak. Just hints of sweetness make this another solid one form Omnipollo.

Pours semi opaque straw gold with an everlasting, chunky head. Citrusy, herbal hops abound in the nose. The taste is an explosion of tangerine, lemon, green tea, eucalyptus, mint and other hop flavors. Some hard to describe tartness too. Clean pale malts in the back. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. High bitterness and lots of hop fruitiness in the long finish.
A nice NEIPA with a unique hop profile. High bitterness and complex. I'll seek it out again.
