Bianca Blueberry Pineapple Marshmallow Lassi Gose
Omnipollo
For this iteration of Bianca we added buckets of blueberries and luscious pineapples and balanced it with milk sugar, rock salt and our marshmallow treatment. Soft, fluffy flavors with complex fruity notes all in one beer.

purchased from the LCBO few last in stock and enjoyed slightly chilled. When poured that deep purple colour appears with a thin head. good taste of fruity flavours, I was hoping to taste more of the marshmallows but overall it was a good beer.

Tallboy from the LCBO; dated 12/10/2022 and served slightly chilled. It's time to start chipping away at the sizable stockpile of fruity sours in the back of my beer fridge - an annual summer tradition. This one has been in there the longest, brewed last autumn.
Pours a deep purple colour; it's translucent when held to a light, with glints of fuchsia. Situated atop is less than a finger of loose, soapy, pinkish-lavender head that falls apart within a couple of minutes, leaving behind a thin, sudsy collar and cap. Fruity, mildly sour nose that offers up big notes of blueberry juice and lemon yogurt, with subtler hints of pineapple/orange milkshake. A little briny, with sugary dessert-like notes underneath the fruitiness.
Sweet at first, with the milk sugar and marshmallow flavours asserting themselves early on; the blueberry juice is also well-accounted for. Notes of yogurt, lemon and blackberry develop by mid-sip, with faint suggestions of pineapple soon thereafter; weakly salty on the back end, with some citrusy tartness giving way to lactose, blue & blackberries into the aftertaste. Full-bodied, silky-smooth mouthfeel with low carbonation that gently agitates the surface of the tongue; luxurious mouthfeel. Stunningly easy to toss back.
Final Grade: 4.19, an A-. Omnipollo's Bianca Blueberry Pineapple Marshmallow Lassi Gose (say that three times fast) is really tasty, but I'm conflicted - it doesn't really remind me of a gose. More of a milkshake sour, really - the blueberry and lassi/yogurt flavours are fantastic, but the pineapple is a little underrepresented, and the marshmallow is the last straw that pushes this sour off to the sweet side of the spectrum. I know it sounds like I'm being critical, but even though this isn't a great example of a gose, it's still a delicious beer that I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

473 ml can served cold into a tumbler. Canned December 13, 2022. Awesome green can.
Appearance - pOurs a murkey dark prurple beer witha finger of frothy pinkish/purple head on top. Good staying power and some sparse lacing left behind.
Smell - Blueberry and some other citrus, kind of an orange and pineapple mix. There's a sweetness there that is hard to discern. Icing sugar and marshmallows maybe.
Taste - Blueberry and sweet pineapple with a little mandarin orange kicking around. Quite sweet, almost too sweet with some sugar and more marshmallows. Citrus comes through in the backend. Some salt also pairs nicely with teh citrus to keep this sort of balanced.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied and super smooth and creamy. Delightful sweet citrus finish that is creamy. Carbonation is light and works wonders with the flavors.
Overall - Not quite as good s the blueberry package lassi gose I had a couple years back, but not far off. Easy drinking, sweet yet refreshing with the salt. A dessert. Great stuff as usual from Omnipollo.

No canning date. Can to snifter.
L: Pours a dark red with a fluffy purplish red head that leaves plenty of lacing. Lots of tiny golden floaters.
S: Strong notes of ripe black berries. Rather raspberry and blackberry than blueberry. The fruity notes are embedded in Omnipollo‘s typical marshmallow sweetness.
T: Very fruity with notes of blackberry, blueberry and pineapple. Hints of vanilla and marshmallows. Sweet, minimally tart and a tad salty.
F: Full, soft and creamy. Low carbonation. A bit sticky.
O: Classic Bianca with a solid yet unspectacular fruit combination. The dark berry notes are very dominant while pineapple is barely tastable. Good beer. No more, no less.

#SPInvitational2022. The ultimate palate cleanser. 5 on principle alone. So creative, always props to Omnipollo.
