Poured from the can into a nonic(k) pint glass.
Very pale lemon and straw yellow, with good clarity and even a bit of green to it. Classic foamed fine radler like head with a bleach white color. Manages a solid three fingers and even some cling, with a thick topped puck and crown.
Aroma is classic radler. Sprityz touches of nice lemon that doesn't come out like dish soap or kool aid. There's a bit of harsh grain on this a bit, almost sensing sort of burnt in an odd way. Light bodied and doesn't come off on the nose too sugary either.
Palate seems to follow the nose. Slight hint of burnt grain, but classic lemon and soda notes with a solid body. Finish and flavor continue the lemon experience, with still a touch of malt husk like burn strangely.
Aside from a minor unexpected flavor, this pretty much comes off like some of the classic standard mass market radlers from Stiegel and Schloss Eggenberg which is pretty good company to be in.
