Served on draft at Pizza P in DuPont, this beer is truly amazing, served in a snifter. Beer is dark brown bordering on black with a tight tan head of small bubbles, some lacing, moderate to low carbonation.
Beer is served way too damn cold but as it warms you get this nice bourbon, sweet, maple, whiskey, boozy scotch aroma that is pretty amazing.
Beer is medium in body and sweet throughout with this great lead off of sweet liquor and a finish of oak and nice maple notes throughout. The base beer is really phenomenal and I hope this is a staple in the coming years. This is the best variant of this beer I've had and I hope it gets made again. Definitely a repeat for me.
