473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Apr 27 2021 and served at cellar temperature.
Pours a muddy yellow apricot colour, producing one finger of soapy white head that seeps off within a minute or two. It leaves behind an even, quarter-inch band of lovely lacing, in addition to a bubbly collar and thin, filmy cap. Floral and fruity on the nose, with lots of orange juice, as well as mango, grapefruit pithiness and a faint whiff of alcohol.
It's juicy, that's for sure - lots of orange, with notes of mango, pineapple juice and grapefruit also coming through pretty clearly. The malt backbone does provide some bready, wheaty sweetness throughout, but it's the hops that are calling the shots here. Finishes with lemon peel, white grapefruit and spicy, floral hop bitterness that lasts into a slightly astringent aftertaste with a touch of alcohol and briefly lingering hop acids. Medium in body, with moderately assertive carbonation that pricks and peppers the tongue with each sip, lending some crispness to an otherwise smooth mouthfeel.
Final Grade: 3.78, a B+. Another Hazy Beer is exactly that. I didn't have any serious problems with Kensington's take on a hazy NE pale ale, though I will say that it does have an unusually robust ethanol presence for a beer that is well under 6%. Not that it ruined the experience or anything - I still enjoyed the glass, but I doubt it's something I'd want to drink multiples of. Worth a look if you can find it, particularly if you enjoy a peppery, acidic kick from your hazy hopped ales.

473 ml can served cold into a tulip. LCBO purchase for around $3.35 CDN.
Appearance - Hazy light golden color with orange hues. Beautiful two fingers of sparkling white head and outstanding staying power.
Smell - Lots of citrus, orange and clementine most prominent with a smattering of grapefruit in the background.
Taste - Orange and clementine, some lemon and grapefruit in the background. A solid grainy base under the citrus veneer.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, good expressive carbonation, slightly dry and astringent finish.
Overall - Very sold APA, one of the better local ones alongside CA's Rhyme and Reason.
