A fresh modern take on English bitter. Easy-drinking and light bronze in colour using the finest UK pale and crystal malts and a blend of hops including Fuggles and Cascade. Dandelion and burdock root add thier unmistakable sweet, earthy flavours. Molasses add a touch of further richness to the flavour without compromisnig the dry thirst-quenching finish.

500ml bottle conditioned. This is an odd one. It’s described on the Windsor & Eton website as a modern English Bitter but the dandelion and burdock (yes, you read that correctly) is so strong I’ve had to categorise it as a ‘field beer’. It’s a pale ale with all the herbal, medicinal qualities of sarsaparilla. It smells very strongly of liquorice and it tastes downright weird. Not for me. Sorry.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
