16oz can, born early November last year, sampled in late January…not the best indicator of what this beer is I’m sure, but it wasn’t bad. Beautiful glowing gold in the glass with creamy eggshell-colored head and moderate haze. Bready and somewhat resiny with a fruity citrus bite and some malt sweetness on the nose. More bready malt backbone on the palate with rindy citrus flavors of grapefruit and orange, mild papaya as well. Balanced and smooth with lower bitterness, the malt profile makes this almost drink like a double IPA at this age. Just fine but only just above average in my opinion.
