Can dated April 15th, reviewed end of June.
Pours a hazy light amber, light head quickly fades away. Floral and fruit in the nose, but fadex with the head. Very typical NWIPA. You get the hop-forward taste profile, distinct bitterness and long finish. Taste notes are floral and picking up a piney / citrus flavor and hints of the malt bill. If you like a good NWIPA, this is a good choice.

I'm happy to see a traditional West Coast IPA. It's piney, with light grapefruit, and a little bit malty. It's very smooth and well balanced. I wish it were in 12 ounce cans, as I would happily buy sixers.

Poured from a 26 ounce can. A pale gold color with a white head. Tastes more like pine than fruit. Well balanced with a clean finish. A very drinkable IPA.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a one finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus and piney hops, tangerine, pine, a little grapefruit and green onion. Flavor is lightly caramel malt with a little biscuit, citrus and piney hops, grapefruit, mild mixed tropical and stone fruit, pine needles. Piney finish that stops just short of resinous with citrus rind notes. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A solid West Coast style IPA that touches all the bases for malt and a nice pine and citrus hop blend. The fruit and pine combination reveal the Simcoe and Chinook hop bill for this West Coaster. Doesn't break any ground, but all traditional style IPAs are welcome in my home right now. I liked the greater malt depth of this one better than Bootjack.

Pint can served in a pint glass. Pale yellow, very nearly crystal clear, medium thick white head. Fresh and fruity aroma suggests freshly peeled grapefruit but also something more exotic and sweet. Flavor has an assertive but balanced West coast IPA profile, with more grapefruit zest, but also a distinct biscuity malt note. Really nice mouthfeel, substantive but not oily. Not innovative, but fantastically executed. Easily my favorite from Icicle so far.
