Our signature hazy is a bright, tropical and juicy IPA with Mosaic, Citra, El Dorado and Simcoe hops, giving it notes of mango, pineapple, tangerine and apricot that excite the nose and palate. The malt profile provides a body that ends each sip with a light and pillowy mouthfeel.

19.2oz can picked up at Safeway in North Spokane, WA
Poured into a Steeplejack pint glass
P hazy pale gold w/ a 1f white head; med heavy lace left behind; maintains a thin layer of foam throughout the experience
N soft to soft-med nose of indiscernable fruitiness and muddled malt; some lightly juicy mango as it warms
T citrus and melon over a hearty neutral biscuity malt; a bit muted; grape must in the aftertaste; mango presence as it opens; decent
Mf med-bodied w/ airy/ foamy med-high carb
O not bad, although not as memorable as I was hoping; may have been better when it was fresh; got more vibrant as it warmed, though

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a hazy golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had citrus fruit hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp semi sweet malt base with citrus, hints of pineapple and bold finish hop presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

From a 12 oz can (6 weeks old) into a shaker. Pours a semi-cloudy honey-gold, not much head. Nose is wet and slightly overripe tropical and orchard fruit and a touch of rind, maybe a little melon and mint. Slightly heavy and wet mouthful. Finish is a little sticky. Not bad, but middle of the road imo.

i liked this one a lot, real modern, distinctive on the hop side, and while not amazingly well refined, i think the juiciness and freshness of this is impressive, glad to have these guys back in the boise market, lots of hoppy stuff this time! this has a slightly soupy look to it from the can, starchy and wheaty looking, short white head that doesnt last but the beer is carbonated alright. the hop nose is great, i get el dorado in front of the other varietals in this, juicy ripe cantaloupe, navel orange, and citrus candy, behind that some sweet pineapple from mosaic, and some pine and light bitterness from the simcoe, which keeps this northwestern, almost mouthwatering. the flavor is just slightly muted compared to the nose, still el dorado hops first, more of the citra now, lemongrass and dried herbs, with green grape and even peachy notes coming out, some oils and slickness in the texture, off dry grain base, seems built around wheat but hasnt been fermented down as much as i prefer in the style, so it lingers a bit after each sip and warms up slightly heavy, appealing as this hop complexion is. its not oversaturated or burning through, and it moves along well enough. in the grand scheme of things, im not sure this one rises to the surface, but its fresh and tasty, even if i dont necessarily want a whole sixer in one sitting. nicely hopped, especially fresh, and an enjoyable new school ipa overall. i liked their enchantments hazy even better!

12oz can purchased up the hill at Huckleberries. I just sent a can of it in a box to Ozzylizard, so I'd better have one myself and make sure I didn't just poison him.
Poured into a can-style glass, this was a hazy honey-gold color, with a good sized, creamy looking off-white head. Lots of lace.
Aroma is hoppy, and reminds me of citrus and tropical fruit.
Fruit forward flavor. Tropical fruit taste up front, with a bit of orangey, and mildly grapefruity, citrus pithiness midway through. Fairly mild, soft finish, like most hazies, but with maybe a touch more of a dry zap than the classic, true NE hazies.
Slightly creamy mouth feel, not quite as soft as the classic NE hazies.
A really nice west coast take on the hazy style, or sub-style, or whatever. It's not going to impress someone expecting something along the lines of a typical Treehouse or Hill Farmstead, but it's pretty good stuff to drink after work while waiting for the oven to reach the right temperature. I'd definitely hit this again.

Hazy, pale orange color that is very even, almost looks watery. Textured white head that stays for the ride. Smell is very aromatic; orange juice, mango, pineapple, very sweet. Taste follows. Sweet orange and pineapple dominate. There’s a light pine, floral hop kiss on the finish. Fairly straightforward. Feel is thin and very dry. It’s not mind blowing, but pretty good nonetheless. Definitely a fast drinker, and seems like it’d be a pretty approachable IPA for the casual drinker.

12oz canned on 11/24/2020. Samples from the brewery.
Hazy, but not murky, with a kind of pale, straw, yellow hue with orange edges. Head is two fingers thick, tight, foamy, clingy, and sticks around until the last sip. Orange, stone fruit, and some floral notes in the aroma. Soft and smooth on the palate. Despite the lively appearance, carbonation is light and there's a bit of a watery feel. Very fruity, but not overly sweet, with pineapple, mandarin orange, and juicy apricot. A bit spicy and herbal. Malt profile is very bready with a dry and hoppy finish.
Alpenhaze is good baseline hazy IPA. Fairly balanced and easy to crush. The only thing missing is a straw for this juice box.
