Making the turn has never been so refreshing! The Outpost Hazy IPA is a bright, tropical, and juicy brew with notes of mango, pineapple, tangerine, and apricot that is as enjoyable to drink as the Sands course is to play.

12 oz can discovered in the economy parking lot at Spokane International Airport. The stamp near the bottom of the can is smudged, so I can tell it was canned on the 29th of a mystery month in 2023.
Poured into a 12 oz can glass, this was an opaque shade of apricot. Big, creamy, eggshell-white head, with lots of lace.
Some fruity hop esters in the nose, that are more than equaled by a breaded maltiness. I'm guessing the hops have died off a bit.
Fairly mango-ish and melon-like hop flavor. The maltiness is greater than it should be in a hazy ipa, but it's not to an obnoxious extent.
Medium bodied, with a fairly soft mouth feel.
All in all, this is much better than I feared. Although it's definitely not at its best, it's a perfectly adequate shot at a hazy IPA by a brewery that really isn't much about hazies. Although a little too malty, it's possible that aspect is do more to age than intent on the part of the brewer. If presented with a fresh example, I would try it again.
