Thanks to okcomputer for picking this one up recently. Poured into 10oz glasses and shared with Katie and Justin. Poured a medium reddish amber color with less than an inch of off-white head that had low retention and lacing.
The aroma was solidly malty, a bit sweet and gently balanced with tangy hops. The flavors also had a solid maltiness up front with a bit of an underlying sweetness. In the middle was a very nice earthy grain taste and then a gentle tingle of hops on the finish.
The body was nicely full, even, smooth and clean. Drinkability was very good, we knocked off the growler in short order. Overall, a very nice example of the style from this new brewery. Worth trying when you see it and I'm looking forward to trying more of their brews.
