Served in straight pint glass. Poured a crisp, clean, clear, bright yellow color with about a half-inch of white head that OK retention and no lacing. The aroma was mostly good, earthy grains with some nice balancing hops and just a bit of a yeast tang.
The flavor profile is a brighter and sharper version of the aromas. Good grains, judicious hops and just a tingle of yeast. The body was very good as well, crisp, clean, smooth and well balanced with a clean finish. Drinkability was excellent, you could easily drink these all day long. Overall, an outstanding beer. A must try if you find yourself any near Leavenworth WA, or if you see it elsewhere.

On tap at the brewery. Poured to a 200 mL stange (notes from 8/12/11):
A - Poured a crystal-clear light yellowy gold, with 1-1/2 fingers of white medium bubble head. Great retention, and moderate lacing.
S - Rosy round-bodied floral scent up front, followed by a strong sunny graininess, as well as wheaty sweetness.
T - Round rosy wheat, moderate and pleasantly sweet, to start, followed by a bit of lemony citrus. The citrus isn't sharp, but slightly acidic, and fits in the roundness of the rosy wheat character. Finishes with not to sweet wheat.
M - Light body, sharp fizzy carbonation on the front of the tongue immediately. Fizz fades to reveal mild-to-moderate lemon bitterness at the back of the tongue. Finishes very dry and crisp.
D - Good flavor, the fizziness added quite a bit of zip. The dry finish keeps this from being thirst-quenching, but it is refreshing, especially on a hot day.
