I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that a spotty lace. The scent had chocolate and roast notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with dark semi sweet chaocolate malt base with roasty presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

On tap at Munchen Haus in Leavenworth. Roasty, somewhat dry. Honest beer, no chocolate cake and coconut to bring it down. Worthy of higher availability.

Had at Icicle Brewing Co. in Leavenworth, WA. Nice dark chocolate brown with a creamy tan head. Smell of dark chocolate and espresso. Smooth body leads to roasted coffee and dark chocolate flavors. Ends with a subtle sourness at finish. Hard to explain. Not sure if it was intended or not. Pretty average bitterness. This is a solid porter though not a game changer.
