Big, bold, rich and roasty strong Robust porter. Complex roasted malts with subdued sweetness. Black Belt drinks surprisingly easy with very smooth mouthfeel. This is a smooth, malty beer that begs you to have another.
Appearance- very rich, deep mahogany with light tan, persistent head and lacing.
Smell- sweet malt, fruity, molasses
Taste - coffee, bittersweet chocolate, rich mingled cherry and coffee and chocolate, ends with espresso
Mouthfeel: medium body, delicate tingling and richness with slight heat in the throat
Finish: espresso dryness and heat in the throat
Balance : espresso and hops finish and dry out initial malty sweetness
Overall: Rich, dry and warming double porter
