On tap at Payette taproom. Trying hard and slightly missing the mark. Some of the meadow/ floral essence of the style, but just off center. First try at this style.

This is a very good triple. One of the better ones I have had. LIke all of the beers I have had at Payette. Full bodied and very smooth with the fruity finish. Not overly strong (like some triples). It is about 8%, so still strong, but you don't taste it. Hopefully they will move this from a seasonal to a regular rotating beer. Very well done Payette!

10oz goblet served tonight at PreFunk... Pours a hazy orange... not head, no cap, no lacing... terrible looking brew.
Nose shows light pepper/bit more clove.. citrusy element that really should not be there..
Flavor has more then enough sweet pale malt that is marginally punctuated by light peppercorn and clovey phenol... fruity esters are almost nonexistant.. just hints of pear.
Very... VERY THICK... way out of whack body... thick and not effervescent at all.. not good IMO.
