Giant taphouse with modern amenities and ability to bring kids and have them congregate with some non adult beverages is a plus to me. Outdoor seating available around a fire pit, lots of space and tables/seating. Selection is usually decent but there aren't as many guest options at a place like this, though there are cans and bottles also available for purchase and consumption. Staff is just fine usually. Recommended.

The place is huge, spacious, and nice. Large outdoor space. No food, but some delivery options. Went there for a late lunch with my mom and we ordered Mediterranean. I had two pints, both IPAs, and took a couple of cans home with me. Beer was pretty good, but not great. Maybe as many as 20 beers on tap. Staff was friendly. Service was at the bar. If you walk toward the back of the bar, it's free access to an area directly overlooking their brewing facility, which is pretty neat; there's seating and a few tables out there. I would go back and try more of their beer.

Exception facility, taproom is huge, and the outdoor patio area is huge. The whole place has a sleek look and appeal. Large L on L-shaped bar on the back right hand side. About a dozen beers on tap, the menu does not make clear which beers are house and which are guest, and as a result I only tried one of there beer. The bright side being the guest beer was better.

Great place to hang out, especially in the summer with the outdoor side yard. Can take kids and dog and chill after a day of hiking in the mountains. We always end up there after hiking.

well, i have only been in idaho a short time now, and i have already been to payette three times, if that tells you anything about how well i like it! its a great spot, when the weather is nice that is, they have a huge dog and family friendly outdoor area on the side there, insanely awesome on a sunny day, yard games, food trucks, the whole thing, its a wonderful scene there, and backing up to the river and the greenbelt makes it uniquely accessible as well. when it rains though, the inside space is less cool, loud with a lot of hard surfaces, somewhat modern, but kind of generic feeling. they have a bunch of coolers of beer to go, and a huge list of beers, quite the selection. digging a little deeper though, there seemed to be some obvious absences on their list, no real wheat or wit or hefe type, i have been there without a sour on, and there has been a relative lack of darks as well, mostly hoppy stuff, lighter ales and lagers, and a few crazy ones. i have liked almost all the beer though, especially the hoppy ones and the crisp classic lagers. i think they have a really good thing going in terms of beer and space at the brewery, and i get why they seem to be everywhere around town. service has been awesome all three times, even when really busy, friendly and generous and fun, just right. this is going to become a regular hangout for us this summer i suspect! keep up the good work!

Payette is a huge brewery and taproom on the outskirts of downtown Boise. They're clearly a production brewery, with a long row of refrigerator cases for take-away sixers and half-racks. The seating area is pretty giant, with a big outdoor area as well with cornhole set up for entertainment. When I visited, there were 18 house taps plus cider and wine -- they even had a guest sour! The beer is good and I was impressed with the service; once I started talking to my server about craft breweries he was all too happy to give recommendations in Boise. I'd definitely visit Payette again.

Based on 3 visits in June 2017.
Innovative and varied list of beers on tap. Variable quality. Flights available. No food but frequent food trucks at night. Large outdoors area plus a largish interior - lends a laidback atmosphere even when crowded. Nicely located on the greenway. Very friendly staff.

Pretty low-key vibe at this place. I went to the newer facility in downtown Boise and they had about 15 beers on tap. No food on site, but they had a pretty good food truck out front and said there is one there almost everyday. Most of the beers I tried were in the pretty good range. Kids and dogs are welcome there.

Simple relatively unfinished drinking area. Cramped when crowded. Accessible brewing area and delivery bay yard game area. Odd mixing clientele. Service less than stellar but setting and vibe don't set the bar high. Great beer but I'd rather drink it anywhere other than the brewery.

Easily one of the top breweries in the state. My personal favorite. Never a disappointment. Growing barrel aged offering.

Payette’s tap room offers some small close space to enjoy their beers in a friendly environment. Limited to their constant releases ands a few seasonals the selection is low, but if you’re in the neighborhood. a great place to have one before heading home.

Stopped by for the first time tonight....It had been recommended a couple of times by others....

I liked it the moment I walked in. The open feel that lets you almost sit around the tanks is great. Big long bar is welcoming along with the bench seating tables.

3 beers on tap. I was hoping for more (which I hear they are getting more).

Foos ball looked like fun but I didn't play tonight.

The could really use more fans as it was a 100 degrees outside.

The food trucks pulling up is a great idea.

I liked it it and will be back soon
