A little spongy, reminds me of Moab Johnny's American IPA but not quite so crisp or flavorful. The malt here is heavier with a sweet note to it. Not a bad beer to buy at a gas station, but I'd rather have something else.

12oz can into a snifter.
A: Beautiful hazy gold with a fluffy white head.
S: Juicy hop presence upfront followed by breadiness, caramel and grains. Pretty nice.
T: Follows the nose perfectly with juicy hop flavors and fruitiness, caramel and grains, light sweetness.
MF: Light body, good carbonation for the style, refreshing.
O: Surprised at this one, I liked the hop component to this one a lot, this is an easy drinking beer and could be a go-to in warm summer weather, especially at the low ABV. Nice work Payette.

Nice light, sessionable ale, perfect on a hot summer day (which it was). Hops mute some of the normal golden malt character, in a nice way. Slightly hazy pale golden body, small head, light mouth feel, mild hop palate.
