On tap at Bier:Thirty. Murky brown with soft, fluffy tan head. Mild nutty aroma leads into big taste with plenty of warmth. Elements of brown sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, burnt toast. I’m starting to like these imperial browns.

Enjoyed tonight at the 4th Anniversary party ... $5 for a nice tulip pour.. Dark brown shows persistent haziness when held to a light.. Head is off white with little retention and no lacing. A big nutty brown ale with some dark dry toast accentuated by a good residual malt backbone.. hints of cocoa and fermented out toffee.. Surprisingly rich.. this should be enjoyed warmer to get all the intricacies to really bloom. Very tasty.
