Another beer I don't remember where or when I had this beer. Possibly in Boise but haven't been there for 5 years. From my rating at the time it must have been pretty good.

Draft at Bittercreek at the taptakeover and was unfortunately one of the only real highlights... Pours mostly clear reddish amber with a long lasting light khaki head.. Moderately strong cherry ester... Dark toast.. Okay... Not really too "Belgian" to speak of. But the bones of a good Dubbel are there, perhaps make the yeast sing a bit more.

Sneak peek at the Payette tap room. Nor quite as fruity as the originals. more malt backbone, alcohol evident but not overpowering. Color normal with nice beige airy head. Nice try!
