Can from Co-op. Dark brown, ruby tinged pour. Small beige head dissipates quickly. Light roast grain aroma, but taste come on much fuller and richer, mildly sweet and somewhat grainy. Yes, hints of granola, if you search for it. Bitter and sweet at the finish, nice weight and feel.

Can from the Boise COOP... Pours the standard black with a khaki head.. small bubble with good retention and lacing. Nutty and rich with good malt complexity... hints of brown sugar.. dry cocoa.. Pretty proper stout... One of the best stouts Payette has made.

3.75's across the board.
