On tap at Bittercreek. Brown ale that leans more towards the smokey side of the spectrum. Heavy on the peat, just shy of a scotch ale. Earthy, dirty aroma. Taste adds a few sweet notes. Not a fan of brown ales, but this had some character.

Pours clear deep amber brown... great head and lacing... Nice bright clean maltiness with just enough hoppiness to balance.. dry toast and something that I associate with dandelions more on the nose and perhaps a bitter flavor on the finish... I personally would have gone for more dandelion presence, but still is nice. Interesting brew and fitting for Bittercreek's anniversary celebration.
