a flavorful american wheat here, nicely hopped, i could pick sorachi ace out of any beer, and its evident in the nose here, but this is still grain first, and the hops are just an accent, even though they are all the way through it. this is a real light beer, probably not quite familiar enough for the blue moon or traditional hefe drinker, but its not boring either, and makes no attempt to be belgian or german at all. there is a cool lemony sweet note from the hops through this, not acidic at all or anything, but like a lemon dessert, really different and appealing, especially with the simple, earthy wheat. its dry but its not too dry, and its refreshing as a sunny afternoon drinker, not overly flavorful aside from the pale wheat and the sorachi hops, but the proportions are nice and this is an easy sipper that does something just different enough with an american wheat style to stand out. a lot of the lighter beers in here, lagers included, have been really good. i am surprised this doesnt have better ratings here...

Draft at taproom. Something metallic, kind of puts this off a bit. Nice creamy texture, normal aroma for a wheat, but taste and finish are kind of screwy.
