they did a really good job with this one, i was nervous about the vanilla being too sweet in here, too dominant, and the beer being more desserty than refreshing, but no worries there, the lemon is at least as pungent, and the sourness also helps keep it in check. there is nice balance between the lemon and vanilla in nose and taste, its all real fresh, and the tartness is clean and mild, and real compatible with the lemon. i like that the sourness is only mellow, this could be consumed in high volume, and the flavors work for that with the relative dryness, this seems less sour than the other one i had in the series, and not just from the vanilla balance, but just soured to a lesser degree on the front end. i like the lemon and vanilla together too, really summery and good, quite natural too. i wish this had a little less body and a little more carbonation, the flavors and mellow acidity allow it to be a session beer but there is a sag in the texture that doesnt, if they dial that in next batch this will be money. should sell well for them either way, its a smart blend of flavors.
