12 ounce can from Jeremy. Pale straw color. Aroma is tart, sweet, pineapple. Not picking up much of the tea in this, mostly pineapple oh, and what seems like a little bit of saltiness at the end.

im not sure i am in love with the base kettle sour for this series, its just kind of thin and boring, and its not as clean and tidy as i want in something made this way, generally speaking. fortunately, they are coming up with some neat combinations of things to add in to jazz it up, interesting enough actually that the series continues to hold my attention, and i liked this pretty well here, with the floral earthy tea and the sweet tropical pineapple. the proportions of these things are good, and they work really well together, a unique combination that may or may not happen out in the world, but in this beer its excellent. the tea is really distinct, and at first its weird to me with the sourness, like i want it to just be a normal blonde ale or something with these flavors, but it grows on my pretty quickly. the pineapple isnt all that sugary, but it tastes like candy a little bit, kind of nice with the bitterness of the tea, and its dry by the end anyway. subtle notes of jasmine, white wine, and coconut here too for me. the body is super thin on this, almost watery, and the carbonation is just average. its light enough, but it almost feels cheap in some way. that said, i think this is a great mix of ingredients and it ranks among my favorite of the aura series beers to date. very much a summer thing.
