tons of innovation from payette lately which is awesome, i think the lineup was getting a little stale there for a minute. this is a fruited gose with pineapple, orange, lemon, and lime, very citrus forward and summery, but a little sweeter than i love in this style, and it sort of diminishes the refreshment factor, i want this drier and cleaner on the swallow. very light in color, not much head from the tap, a little thin looking but better than the alternative of it being thick and hazy, lots of dense fruity goses out there these days. orange and lemon hit my nose and tongue first, then the sweeter pineapple, almost candied in the finish, and without much grain character to round it out, it drinks almost like a cocktail, i could have used a little more from the wheat malt here to keep it beery. the salt is also a little lighter than i want, more of it would help dry this out and contribute some mineral depth, its a little minimal as it is right now, and more salt would be helpful. more fizzy than it looks in the glass, very clean on the souring but with only mild tartness, more would also help cut the sweetness, and overall a summery drink thats fun but not quite as well executed as it could, or frankly should be, from these guys. i appreciate the run of new flavors though. more sour and more salt would make this more my speed, and a more natural pineapple complexion would be good as well...

16oz can fomr brewers haven. bright golden, mild cloudiness, fizzy head. Aroma is dry, salty and some pineapple. taste leans on the salt more than the pineapple. Sweet, then salty, dry. Leaves you licking your gums.
