Theres something to be desired here but overall relatively impressed, it's not better than some things but is better than say...Oil Man by 1000%. I'd like to try the original. Subtle vanilla, slight caramel, a bit of a boozy finish but overall this isn't bad. At least it tastes like something.

12oz can from Brewers Haven. Near black pour, short-lived fizzy beige head. Bourbon first in the aroma, sweet, vanilla. Sweet taste, vanilla is coupled with a hefty burn. Really boozy, enough so it detracts from and masks the taste.

an interesting twist on the classic for this years variant, not sure it would be my first choice, given how sweet the base beer is this year, but its solid, well executed, and should be a real delight for those who like them desserty. not much head from the tap, deep brown but not quite black, highly viscous, way more than the original, and leggy and sticky looking. it smells sweet as can be, high end bourbon right away, compatible with but in front of any creme brulee character. i get a heap of vanilla, some honey sweetness with the malt sweetness, a cooked but not necessarily burnt sugar profile, and some sweet gooey caramel as well, like this should be served over ice cream. a lot of the roast of the base beer is lost in the flavor to me, and while i dont exactly get dominated by creme brulee, the attempt at it does take over, fortunately the whiskey aspect remains front and center. vanilla everywhere, natural and bold, a lactose aspect too it seems extending it, milk chocolate, toffee, and sticky raisin cake. its good, but its not my favorite of these, too sugary to drink much of, palate coating and heavy, even without being all that alcoholic. maybe this will mellow with some age, i wish it was in bottles instead of cans for that reason. cool how the quality bourbon comes through, but im not sure anyone would taste this and immediately think of creme brulee...
