Draft at Payette. Goilden pour, skin of white head. Aroma and taste are light on the hops, just minor accents on top of a robust grain bell. Easy drinker, smooth.

lovely new session ipa here done with nelson processed at mill 95 here locally, this is the kind of thing i want more of from these guys, simple, hop forward, well executed, no frills, its really good beer, hands down my favorite from our excursion to their taproom yesterday. less is more here, a simple pale malt base with just a little color to it, high end and distinctive hops that burst with freshness and essences of green pear, elderflower, white wine, honeydew, and jasmine, and a tidy enough ferment that stays out of the way and works this down close to dry, all i really need or want in one of these, and it delivers. there is a decent little head on this, short lived but it leaves some sheet lacing as it drinks down, the 100 degree temperature outside didnt help with this staying in its best form, had to drink it quick, although i will say these hops warmed up favorably. notes of kiwi fruit, honeysuckle, white tea, under ripe peach, and green grape, super juicy and good, it gets a little oily and dank too, a side of nelson i am more unfamiliar with, a little bit of an onion thing too maybe way in the background, good saturation without it being green. lighter medium body, just okay carbonation, the beers often sag a little here for whatever reason, but overall really good, infinitely drinkable, and a nice showcase of this hop. they should package this one!
