Pours a very cloudy opaque pitch black color with a thin foamy head. Head retention is minimal as is lacing. Somewhat roasty chocolate aroma with Java. Watered down chocolate taste with a hint of roastiness. Light bodied with mild carbonation.

Draft at Payette. Brown pour, sparse beige head. Aroma is nutty with faint chocolate notes. Taste features the roasty malts with weak chocolate and hazelnut notes.

12oz can; standard fare appearance-wise, dark brown with deep red hues, minimal head. Malty sweet as expected with a clear nutty tone throughout the beer from middle to finish. Lighter impressions of milk chocolate, as well as roasted malt, minor coffee roast, etc. Decent but not my favorite.
