RBSG Bus tour stop, draft at the brewery. Black pour, opaque, small tan head. Nice roasty aroma, falls short of Kostritzer, my benchmark. Taste too is almost there, needs more bitterness, but nice attempt. Earlier Rating: 7/28/2017 Total Score: 2.9 Taster at the brewery. Dark brown, cola color, small beige head. Aroma is a bit too nutty, not roasty enough. Taste too ventures too far towards a porter. Just missed.

On tap at the brewery pub in Boise.
Clear, very dark brown body that's nearly opaque. Essentially no head.
Sweet aroma of dark roasted grains with an off note.
Medium-full body with medium - light carbonation.
