On tap at Payette. Initial acetyl alcohol aroma, body is darker than normal for the style. Gets better with warmth and exposure to air. Small skin of head, alcohol is at the forefront in taste also, some nice malts in the background. Plenty of warmth, a sipper for sure.

Picked a chub fill of this at Bier Thirty tonight for a very reasonable $9ish... Poured into my HotD goblet... dark khaki/brownish head sticks around for a decent amount of time.. okay spotty lacing... the brew is slightly hazy walnut.
Nose shows hints of roast and more rounded crispy brown malt.... light/medium caramel essence, but doesn't smell sweet at all.. all balanced by an appreciated moderate hop hand.
Good bitterness from front to back.... again the malts are prevalent too, but seem fermented out so there is no cloying sweetness, just a pleasant maltiness .. heavier toast and light fermented out toffee.. all flavors are well meshed.. nothing is overwhelming.. well done.
The body is a solid medium... carbonation is fine.
This is pretty damn good.... I am impressed... It would be unprecedented, but I would like to see this in cans. A nice BW in a can would be fantastic for a night cap around a late-night campfire.
