Copenhagen 10/7 2020, 75 cl corked bottle from Best of Beers web-shop. Drawing of idyllic landscape with a winding road through a peaceful meadow with an old bicycle by the ide of the road.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden amber with a small white head. Settles as thin patch of foam stretching across the surface of the beer but unable to cover it. Clinging to the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intensive with a strong yeasty, slightly funky odor and some sour, citric notes. Farmyard, basement, cheese, milk gone bad. Citrus and tart berries.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a sharp, slightly stronger sourness. Aftertaste is sour and bitter. Finish is vinous and dry.
Like dry white wine infected by a rural, farmhouse, funky spirit.
