Dark blackish red with a beige foam. It doesn't really smell like much except cinnamon. Very hot on the lips. Then there is the surprise of the extremely dry sensation. Not any residual sugar at all. I didn't comment on the regular version of this when I reviewed it, but this just seems strangely dry and watery too.
I brought out a bottle for four of us to try and no one wanted more than a couple of sips. I don't taste any vanilla either. In any case it's a Chile Beer. Long hot aftertaste. All pain, no pleasure. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Grapevine Liquor on South Monaco.
