A modern IPA style developed to contrast traditional West Coast IPAs. Hazy in apparence, bright and citrusy in flavor, low in bitterness. The name Citrus Paradisi comes from the Latin term for the grapefruit tree.

The pour is a hazy orange. The taste is juicy red mango with a mild grapefruit pith finish. Overall, I thought this was a fabulous hazy IPA although I could spot a date anywhere on the can. Cheers! B

Presentation: 12 oz. can with no dates. Served in a Willi Becher glass.

Appearance: The two finger head goes down fairly quickly and leaves behind a thin foam layer and lots of lacing in patches. It's a murky, opaque, orange-tinted gold color.

Smell: It's a soft and sweet smell of oranges, tangerines and malt.

Taste: It's juicy and fruity with no bitterness at all. There's orange, tangerines, grapefruit and cantaloupe. It finishes with a slightly rough earthy graininess.

Mouthfeel: It's quite light and very refreshing with low carbonation.

Overall: It's a very refreshing and fruity beer with a lot of character that's well balanced and easy to drink.

12 oz can. Pours very hazy dark orange with a big fluffy off white head that retains well and leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is sweet juicy citrus fruit.

The flavor is sweet juicy citrus with a bit of a sharp, slightly medicinal, bitter finish with some yeasty notes. The mouthfeel is is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a good NE IPA.

L: Very hazy yellow-orange color with a large creamy white head that dissipates quickly and leaves several fingers of lacing. As with most of these hazy IPAs, it is an ugly beer.

S: Sweet orange and banana, it reminds me of banana orange juice from the store, mixed with a little kiwi and mango and some tropical fruit. Overall, a very juicy sweet smelling beer.

T: Grapefruit and grapefruit rind, some orange, and a bit of a piney bitterness, the beer is not nearly as sweet or juicy as the aroma would lead you to believe.

F: Mouthfeel could be a little creamier, but carbonation feels just about right for this type of beer.

O: I love the aroma of this beer, but the taste is a bit of a letdown.
