This wasn't my favorite Oktoberfest - I got a lot of the hops and the spice, but not very much of the malt backbone at all. It also seemed a bit watery, probably because that sweetness wasn't there to balance out the spice. I know they can make better beer than this, so hopefully they tweak the recipe and get this one up to par.

L:. Pours a dark amber orange with a small white head and no lacing.
S:. Toasted bread, a touch of caramel, some sweet cereal malt and medium hop bitterness.
T:. Baked toasted bread, a touch of caramel, sweet cereal malt, a medium hoot bitterness. Little sweeter than I like my Oktoberfest.
F:. Crisp carbonation, light to medium body.
O:. Solid Oktoberfest but a touch sweeter than I prefer.
