i love this beer! it is the definition of what small batch craft beer can and should be. this one pours a perfectly clear honey color, with just a hint of an amber color to it. it has the most beautiful one inch white head youve ever seen, thick and fluffy, just floating there on the beer, great retention and lacing. The smell of this beer is to die for, totally fresh. the hops dominate in the nose, piney and tangy, resinous. the malt profile is also very very fresh smelling, cerealy, not heavy. flavor is a great extension of the aroma, big bold bitter hops up front, with a great complex but lighter malt backing. this is perhaps the ultimate session beer. feel is lighter on the body than the color indicates, with moderate carbonation. infinitely drinkable. overall this is a hoppy session beer that represents all the qualities i love about craft beer. hopefully this one gets some recognition.

Nice head and creamy texture in the mouth. Amber color. Great fragrance of flowery hops, then roasted barley in the nose. Very nice toasted flavors, just mildly sharp. Bitterness comes along after the malt (33 IBU). Watery mouthfeel, highly refreshing. Nicely hoppy (Cascade) but a better balance in the German style than many gonzo Pale Ales. Perfumey touch in the finish. Extremely drinkable.

On tap at Copper Kettle. Copper color with a decent head, some lace. Smells a little like citrus, clean. The taste is a nice pale ale, hoppy, bright (as advertised), not too bitter, very easy to drink. Apparently this uses cascade hops exclusively and its a really solid pale ale. I think this was the best beer I had there and the most likely candidate for me to get a growler fill of.
