On tap at the Copper Kettle. We were told this was the Copper Mezzina with Belgian yeast. It looked identical to the copper mezzina. Smell was hops and esters. Flavor was pretty good, hoppy pale ale with a belghe ian influence but overall I would prefer the Copper Mezzina.

Attractive amber with a mustache of foam in the pint glass. Brewers say it has Cascade hops (37 IBU) and Belgian yeast. Seems to grow more hoppy as you sip, but has a nice aromatic component. Aftertaste is also hoppy but also full of the bitter Belgian notes. Dry and rather woody. Kind of a Saison quality plus a sourish hint. A bitter cereal flavor comes to dominate the finish.
On tap at Copper Kettle brewpub. $5 for a pint. An interesting flavorful quaff for a modest alcohol investment.
