On tap at Copper Kettle poured a hazy amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of biscuit, grassiness, earthiness, pine and citrus. Mouthfeel was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earhiness, pine and light grapefruit with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

On tap at Copper Kettle this won their home-brew contest. Dark orange color, good lace, looks just fine to me. Smell is hoppy but a weird melange of hops aromas and nothing distinct. The flavor is very, very bitter and extremely hoppy but unfortunately it is very muddled. Its like they just added a mess of hops and it does not have a distinct hop profile, bitter fights citrus which fights pine and grass. More proof that people outside CA can't usually brew a good hop-bomb IPA. Then again maybe I am very biased towards the West Coast with Ballast Point, Alpine, and RR setting the bar so high.
