Pours a bronzey colour with steady bead heading up towards white head, cloudy with small tight bubbles and non-sticky lace. Pretty good alt.
Smells very pleasant. Brown sugary malt with a touch of molasses and chocolate is lifted by enjoyable German hops giving lemongrass and peppermint, for a nice sweet, tangy and herbal aroma. Great stuff.
Taste is sweeter more than anything, quite malty with barley notes and some brown sugar around the edge. Slight toasty note giving just a flash of milk coffee midway, then finish is dry with a touch of metallic hops just turning the palate to mild, drinkable phenolic bitterness. Great balance and pleasant flavours.
Bit thin body but mostly smooth, touch of carbonation is not overwhelming but still a bit unnecessary.
Great German hybrid styling here. Good balance, sweetness and tangy and bitter all together.

Drank at the Duckstein in Margaret river.
A - Pors a clear copper colour and avery nice off white creamy head that stays around.
S - Slghtly peppery and malty aroma.
T - Nice clean malts that are slightly peppery with a very nice bitter finish similar to a Squires IPA.
M - Medium to light body with fullish carbonation.
D - Really enjoyed this one, it has nice malty flavours and will quench a thirst. A very solid brew.
