Format: a standard brown 330mL bottle with a tylish macro label. Purchased in a mixed case from the brewery at Kunda Park.
Appearance: a lightly murky and vibrant ginger colour with very little visible carbonation. A thin white head drops away to almost nothing.
Aroma: smells of very natural ginger, and that's about it. Some spice would be nice to meter it out.
Taste: again straight ginger with a very light amount of malt and spice. Okay but not brilliant.
Aftertaste: the ginger drops away a bit to leave a bit more spice.
Mouth feel: light to medium in feel with a medium carbonation. Decent.
Overall: not the best offering from Sunshine Coast Brewery. It just smells and tastes of a ginger. Nice and low ABV if you wanted one on a hot day though, but I'd probably just have a Bundaberg ginger beer instead.
