Solstice Saison is a light and fruity Saison inspired by holiday flavors like cranberry, orange, and cardamom. Both light in color and light-bodied, this Saison has a dry, mouthwatering finish. The addition of cardamom balances the sweet and tart notes from the cranberry and orange nicely.

12oz can canned 11/03/22 into a 12oz tulip glass.
L: Pours pale grey w a pink & fleshy hue w a thin, smooth white head, good retention to edge foam, lively even carbo, light skeletal lacing.
S: Funky dry green apple, lightly spicy & peppery, grassy, earthy cardamom, pear, melon rind.
T: Fruity, fairly tart, pear, citrus zest, yeast, crackery bread, mulberry, white grape, resinous cardamom, melon rind, well balanced and not overly dynamic, has a faint brine.
F: Lightly brisk, zesty and drying med-light bodied feel. Punchy w an effervescent center and a fast, dry, lightly parching finish.
O: Organic aroma, great taste, lovely feel. A bit like a fruity dry party punch. Refreshing and very good in its style.

It's hazy and.. yeah. Kinda smells like an old person's house. Salty, yeasty and well seasoned, lemon pepper seasoning poured over a piece of white bread. More clove as it warms. Lightly crisp and lots of lemon, better as it warms but too much fruit and not enough booze

From a 12oz can:

Appearance: Hazy pale yellow, ok head.

Smell: Yeasty, lemon, some cloves.

Taste: Lemon, little yeasty and bready notes, soft feel, coating.

Overall: A lemony tasting saison from the mix pack for the winter season. It's a nice change of pace from the big stouts and other heavy beers. It would actually be a good summer beer too, nice and light.

On draft at Castle Danger. Poured a clear, straw-yellow color with a small, white head of bubbly foam. It left thin sheets of lace on the glass. It smelled of bread crust, crackers, some spices and lemon. Sweet caramel taste with lemony zip and a spicy finish.

This is a light and refreshing saison with perfect flavors for the winter and holiday season. Pours a very pale yellow that is almost clear but ends up being hazy in the end. Smell is wonderful citrus and fruit. Taste is light and refreshing with plenty of citrus notes. As One reviewer noted there is a cracked pepper type taste that flows through the finish. Not as sour as some farmhouse ales - thankfully. It's a little bit strange and maybe has to do with too much cardamom? I'm not sure but it doesn't ruin the beer by any means.

12oz can. Can bottom is stamped for canning date of '10/06/21'.
Cloudy, straw colored body. Big pillowy head which lasts for a long time. Some lacing spots are left behind.
Aroma has yeast esters (pencil eraser), orange, and cardamom.
Taste brings in the cranberry along with the cardamom and lesser yeast esters. Some orange mixes in with the cranberry. Dry finish, with the fruit and yeast.
More than medium mouth feel, with dryness. Very good carbonation.
Tastes like a holiday saison with the extra fruit and spice.

My first review so we will see how this goes. This was leftover from Thanksgiving from my brother-in-law.

Look- very light colored, hazy. One finger head.

Smell-wonderful citrus (oranges) nose.

Taste-I am getting the orange it says it has, and the cloves, but the overall taste seems to be dominated by cracked pepper. Almost to the exclusion of everything else.Maybe it's the cardamom, but it's a little off putting.

Mouthfeel-light bodied. Very drinkable in that respect.

Overall-too much of the spices even though it drinks easily. I have had better saisons.
