22 oz bottled 4/21/16 poured into a tulip glass. Quick pop upon opening. Pours a hazy straw yellow, with a huge release and three finger head that moves fairly quickly to a clumpy half finger of head, and eventually, a small layer of lace. Decent retention on the side of the glass.
Aroma is yeasty and spicy, with some coriander and lemon zest, and orange. The taste follows suit, but is more rounded, with hints of bubble gum and grass/earth. Most likely due to the huge carbo release on the pour, the overall carbonation on the sip is medium low. The feel is medium, and there is a semi-dry finish.
Overall, this seems to be a well done straight forward saison, with no amped up sweetness or hops like some others I have had. Glad to have come across it, definitely worth the $5 bomber price.
