Draft: Poured a bright golden color ale with a generous foamy head with good retention. Aroma of grainy malt and overcooked vegetables is not the most pleasant. Honey and sweet notes are also noticeable. Taste is also dominated by some grainy malt and overcooked vegetables with sweet honey notes. I could hardly detect any ester which I usually enjoy in this style. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. I thought this tasted like the first beer brewed with Frontenac malt tasted like which just to be clear isn’t’ a good thing.
