On tap at the source.
Slightly hazy deep yellow almost golden color. Earthy pine and light fruitiness against a restrained bready malt backbone. Pretty nice IPA

Growler from Market 32. First Mad Jack beer I've had even though the brewery is a meer 25 minutes away. Glad they are sharing kegs with others! It's very good!

this one didn't do much for me, and I was excited for it because it was the first I had ever heard of this brewery, and the waitress sold it to me as an india pale lager, a style which I am really starting to dig. this is not a lager at all, and is in fact very very malty at the expense of tasting much like any ipa ive ever had. its copper in color, maybe a little lighter than that, and doesn't hold much head. the nose is sweet crystal malts in a somewhat excessive proportion, and bitter hops only. it tastes way out of balance, even for an English style if that's what they were going for, and it has no real appreciable yeast character. fuller bodied its palate coating as it goes down, it also sits a little weird in the guts. its under carbonated and does not warm up in a flattering way. there are no visible technical flaws in this beer, other than that the recipe seems to be a dud, especially for an American ipa. I will stop by and visit this place next time I am passing through and see how their other beer stacks up, but this was a rather poor take on the style overall.

Excellent brew. Had a few of these at Proctors last night, and throughly enjoyed them
