On draft, poured into a pint. It's scorching hot in here but let's do this!
It has a light clear pink look to it, with some sediment swirling around to give it just a bit of depth. Really beautiful color, especially in this +90 degree heat with condensation on the glass. Smells of watermelon (good) and not much else.
Taste wise... refreshing, but not too sweet. It's brewed with watermelon, and has that taste. Not much else to say in that respect. A lager with watermelon. The mouthfeel was especially light, which I enjoyed in the heat where I just wanted to stay cool.
Enjoyed this brew at the brewery. First off, awesome name. Second off, interesting choice of ingredients (watermelon). Thirdly, just not my cup of tea... beer. Whatever. A decent beer that some would enjoy, and most definitely worth a try, in the Austin summer.
