Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam. The head has a low level of retention, fading fast to leave a tiny bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is rather strong of a grainy smell mixed with aromas of caramel. Along with these smells comes a touch of hay.
Taste – The taste begins with a caramel malt and grainy flavor that is matched by some tastes of a light breadiness. These tastes constitute the major flavor profile of the brew and last throughout the profile. Toward the end, a touch of hay and a bit more graininess comes to the tongue, leaving one with a nice crisp and clean taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is rather light and crisp with a carbonation level that is rather high. For the style the feel is great and makes for a very easy sipping brew.
Overall – A nice crisp summer style beer. Rather enjoyable on a hot summer day

Notes from 3/3/2020.
Poured from a 12oz can into a Rastal nucleated Teku glass.
The body is clear pale yellow with 1 finger of white head. Retention is average leaving a thin cap.
The intensity of aroma is low. There are notes of bread and sweet malt.
The intensity of taste is slightly below medium. In the flavor there's white bread, bread crust, and some sweetness. The finish is lightly bitter.
The level of thickness is medium-low, has a very slight creaminess, low carbonation, and a medium level of astringency.
Overall, it's good and it's better than macro American Lagers.

Draft pour to shaker, straw yellow, minimal head, good lacing. Nose is clean and light malt. Flavors on point, super clean, bready. Medium body and below average carbonation.

$1.67 a can at Trader Joe's:

Clear copper body. ~3cm head height. Head is fluffy, foamy, and off-white. Typical of a Mexican lager.

AROMA: Grain. Spice. Flaked malt. Buttery notes - possible diacetyl. I think I find corn. 6-row/pale malt.

TASTE & TEXTURE: Coating and medium-bodied with a buttery taste led by 6-row pale malt and I'd guess a bit a corn adjunct/maize. Clean drinking but it finishes spicy - probably from the hops used. Buttered crackers come to mind.

A little sweet - more so than I'd expect in a Mexican lager - but that's better than watery I guess. Not a beer I'd want to drop a lime wedge in and slurp down on a hot day, which for many is the test of a Mexican lager. Unrefreshing. A bit too thick for the intended style.

OVERALL: Not a beer I'd buy again, nor a good Mexican lager, but it's drinkable and inoffensive, albeit too sweet and too thick. I'd rather have a Pacifico, truth be told.

Pours a pleasant yellow color, like urine if you haven't been drinking enough water. Very thin head, snow white.
Smell is mild, grassy and feint malty sweetness. Some wheat/yeast/bready notes in the back.
Taste is mild and refreshing. there is a graininess and mild buttery flavor. Somewhat like a ritz cracker but light on the tongue.
Feel is wonderful, crisp and smooth. Not at all watery but comes across as hydrating and very refreshing.
Overall this is a wonderful 'mexican style lager', whatever that means. It is a perfect beer for a hot day and after/inbetween some physical labor in the sun. Wish this was available near by, it would be a summer time staple.
